Our knowledgeable staff can help you find the right equipment to meet your needs and budget, but here are a list of our customers frequently asked questions at Mobility City of New Orleans, LA.

What are your hours of operation?

Monday-Fri 9-5; Sat 10-2

Is there someone in the showroom that can help me with the mobility products?

Yes we have a team that is very knowledgeable

Can you deliver the mobility equipment to my home?

Yes. It will need to be scheduled

Purchasing & Payment

Do you offer a Military or Veterans Discount on mobility products?

Yes 10%

Do you offer financing options on mobility equipment?

Not at this time

Do you ever offer discounts or specials on mobility equipment?

Yes. Check our website for monthly specials

Do you accept health insurance?

No. We are all private pay. We do have a National Provider Number that we can give you with a detailed receipt to get reimbursed if your provider is willing to do that.

I’m on a limited budget. Do you have inexpensive products?

Yes. At times, we offer used equipment too but have a range of equipment pricing for all budgets.

Do you buy used mobility equipment?

On occasion. It must be 2 years or less and it’s on a case by case basis

What is your return policy on mobility equipment?

RETURNING AN ITEM WITHIN 7 DAYS
15% RESTOCKING FEE

RETURNS AN ITEM WITHIN 8-30 DAYS
25% RESTOCKING FEE

NO RETURNS AFTER 30 DAYS.

Rentals

What type of equipment do you rent?

Mobility Scooters, Power Chairs, Wheelchairs, Transport chairs, Lift Chairs, Knee Walkers and Ramps

How long do I need to rent the equipment for?

It depends on the equipment. Many can be rented for the day but some require half month or monthly rentals

Can you deliver rented mobility products?

Yes

Do you have a delivery fee for rentals?

Not if you are located in the New Orleans area. There is a fee to deliver on the Northshore and outer lying areas of New Orleans

Can you deliver and pick up rented products to the hotel we are staying at?

Yes

Do you offer insurance for rentals?

No

Can my rental charge go towards a purchase?

When a customer has been renting and decides they want to purchase the equipment, we will credit back ONLY HALF A MONTH rental price no matter how many months they have already rented.

EXCEPTION: If customer wants to purchase within the first 7 days of rental, full rental price will go towards purchase.

Do you provide rentals for any local airports?

Yes

Where is pickup and dropoff when renting a product at Louis Armstrong/MSY airport?

We can meet you outside of baggage claim or departure

Do you provide rentals for any local cruises or ports?

Yes. At this time however we are not open on Sundays and can not meet or pick up on that day

Where is pickup and dropoff when renting for a cruise?

At the port itself unless you are staying at a hotel

How do I arrange for a rental at New Orleans port?

Call and speak to one of our staff about your accommodations

Can you fix my broken products and equipment at my home?

Yes

Does your mobility equipment service truck come to my area to do repairs?

Yes

Do you service electric scooters?

No only mobility scooters.

Do I need to schedule an appointment to bring my mobility equipment in for repair?

Yes

Technicians

Do your Technicians work for your company and do they have background checks?

Yes

Have your Technicians received the Covid-19 vaccination?

Yes

Are you insured in case of damage in my home?

Yes

Where do you deliver mobility equipment to?

Almost anywhere in our service area

How soon can you deliver mobility equipment to my home?

It depends on our schedule and day/time you are available.

Does your mobility equipment service truck come to my area?

We service the Southshore and Northshore of New Orleans and sometimes outside of the area. Call to give us more information and see how we can help.

Products & Equipment

Do you carry bathroom safety equipment?

Yes

Can I pay you over the phone for products and services at my parents’ home?

Yes

Do you repair products bought from other companies?

Yes for most products if we can get parts and the company doesn’t have their own repair teams.

Can you come to my home, apartment, or assisted living facility to repair my equipment?

Yes.

My batteries no longer charge. Do you carry replacements?

Yes.

Do you carry lithium replacement batteries?

Yes.

Can I just buy the batteries myself?

Yes.

Do you sell chargers?

Yes.

Will you purchase used mobility equipment?

It’s on a case by case basis. Equipment has to be 2 years old or less to consider.

Do you have mobility equipment to see and test in your showroom?

Yes.

Do you honor a manufacturer’s warranties on mobility equipment?

Yes.

Do you carry and service bariatric mobility equipment?

Yes.
